I've had a similar experience with a used Podmic USB bought through Amazon. I bought three mics in total but only one worked. No one in the right state of mind can really trust a dude in some warehouse checking boxes on a piece of paper for a piece of electronics he never connected to a proper testing environment. It's essentially a gamble on the buyer's part. The best part is that unlike buying a used part privately, Amazon gives an option to return it back if it doesn't work so I returned the other two and bought a new one instead. To be fair, RODE Support was super pleasant to deal with and was ready to help. They helped troubleshoot it and issued an RMA so I could ship the mic to them for repair/replacement (not back to Amazon) even though they didn't really have to since the item was bought used. I decided to go back to Amazon and get a new one for logistical/timing reasons. All that leads me to the following conclusion - when buying used electronics, make sure you're paying as much money as you can live with losing - there is typically no warranty to back you up and also typically, the items are sold as-is, so the seller will show you the door if you bring it back for a refund. Going forward, with complex electronics, I'm buying new items only, so I can get coverage from the manufacturer. Just FYI, I believe RODE has a 5-year extended warranty ... for mics anyway.

To the people moaning about the word Liverpool. Its our fucking city ffs. Id actually suggest putting it under the tower on the crest. Everton FC - Liverpool 1878. It claims the city and let's everyone outside of the UK know where were from.

If you’re asking for the word “Liverpool” to be removed from the title of this video, you’re a muppet. Imagine being offended by the word of the city you’re from and where Everton is based. Everton is older than Liverpool, it was the first club in the city and its proud to be from be city of Liverpool. LFC do not own the word Liverpool, it’s a place long before it was a club and Everton was a club before Liverpool FC also. Grow up. Dopes.

Skelmersdale New Town was designed by 'Year Zero' socialists who were clearly poisoned by Soviet influences. Even the recently refurbished Police Station looks as though it were transplanted from the old Iron Curtain It's a town without character, without heart and without soul. Despite this, the citizens manage to stay positive, friendly and cheerful. The original railway station was closed just before the New Town got underway and the last Tory govt, refused funds to build a new station. The town currently being used as a dumping ground for immigrants who don't stand a chance of finding employment. The fly tipping is awful, but it's not the town's worst problem. The main roads don't even have pavements except in old Skem.
